What is Kids Health First?

Kids Health First is a school healthcare consulting company that provides fully equipped mini-clinics, trained medical staff, and first aid services to schools, ensuring students and staff have access to quality healthcare on campus.

 

What services do you offer?

We provide:

  • Mini-clinic setup (modern sickbay) within schools
  • On-site nurses and paramedics for medical care
  • Routine health check-ups for students and staff
  • Treatment for minor medical conditions like malaria, fever, and wounds
  • Subsidized laboratory tests for new students and staff
  • Free medical outreach programs as part of our CSR
  • Sports and wellness support
Is Kids Health First a hospital or emergency medical service?

No, we are not a hospital or an emergency medical provider. We focus on first aid, minor treatments, and preventive care within schools. Serious medical conditions or emergencies must be referred to a hospital.

 

How does the mini-clinic work within a school?

Each partnered school receives a fully equipped mini-clinic (sickbay) with essential medical supplies, beds, and first aid equipment. A trained nurse and paramedic are assigned to provide care during school hours.

 

How much does the service cost?

Each student pays ₦2,000 per term, and ₦300 of this fee goes directly to the school. This fee covers healthcare services, regular check-ups, and medical support.

 

What medical conditions do you treat?

We handle minor medical cases, including:

  • Malaria
  • Fever and colds
  • Dressing and stitching of minor wounds
  • Basic first aid care for bruises and cuts
Do you offer emergency medical services?

We provide first aid and stabilization, but we do not handle major medical emergencies or surgeries. In severe cases, we will refer students and staff to a nearby hospital.

Can parents opt-out of the healthcare plan?
